We provide comprehensive interpreting services across the Czech Republic and abroad.

We interpret all common and rare languages, both in combination with Czech and in various language
combinations without Czech.

We focus on interpreting of specialised topics including but not limited to engineering,
business and law, information technology, economics, etc.

Our interpreters are experienced professionals who not only have proficient knowledge of their respective languages and interpreting,
but they also have expertise in the relevant subject-matter.

Interpreted events

Most of our interpreting takes place at corporate events, including long-term interpreting that may require multiple interpreters.

You can also request remote interpreting, court interpreting or private interpreting.

Types of interpreting

We provide the following types of interpreting:

    • Consecutive interpreting
    • Simultaneous interpreting
    • Remote interpreting
    • Court interpreting

 

Consecutive interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is the most common form of interpreting.
The speaker speaks in shorter segments which are then interpreted into the target language.

This type of interpreting is used in business meetings, lectures, small-scale conferences, training
sessions, tours, presentations, etc.

No technical equipment is required for consecutive interpreting.
A microphone and an amplifier can be used for larger audiences or limited audibility.

Simultaneous interpreting

In simultaneous interpreting, the speaker speaks without pauses and the speech is simultaneously
interpreted into the target language.

This type of interpreting is used in conferences, lectures, speeches, training sessions, and
similar events.

Simultaneous interpreting is usually provided by a minimum of 2 interpreters who alternate
at certain intervals.

The number of interpreters involved depends on the difficulty and duration of the interpretation.
Technical equipment is usually

Remote interpreting

It is an alternative to traditional interpretation – you can hold meetings with your business partners
directly from your office.

To participate, you need a PC or mobile phone, an internet connection, a microphone, a speaker or
headphones and a webcam.

In addition, you can share texts, images or videos related to the subject-matter of the meeting with
other meeting participants.

Court interpreting

Court interpreting is carried out by court interpreters appointed in accordance with Act No.
354/2019 Coll., on Court Interpreters and Court Translators.

Court interpreting is used wherever it is necessary to stamp the interpreting act with a court
interpreter’s stamp, e.g. during court hearings, wedding ceremonies, notarial acts etc.

Interpretation equipment

To ensure the smooth running of your event, especially for simultaneous interpreting, we can provide you with interpretation equipment including technical support, i.e. transport to the venue, installation, technical support during the event and dismantling after the event.

In order to ensure the best possible quality of the interpreting process, we have the following recommendations:
